Form Conditions of Use – Report an Incident
By submitting information, data, files, descriptions, screenshots, or any other material (“Submitted Information”) through this incident reporting form, you acknowledge, agree, and legally affirm the following Conditions of Use. These conditions constitute a binding agreement between you and the Cybersecurity Association of the Food Industry (CSAFI).
1. Accuracy and Truthfulness of Submitted Information
You affirm that all information you are submitting is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge; provided in good faith; not fabricated or misleading; and related to a genuine, suspected, or observed cybersecurity threat affecting the food and agriculture ecosystem.
2. Authority to Submit
You confirm you are legally permitted to share the information and are not violating confidentiality agreements, employment contracts, government restrictions, or legal obligations. You will not upload malware or harmful code.
3. Grant of Rights to CSAFI
By submitting information, you grant CSAFI a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, analyse, store, process, modify, adapt, summarise, reproduce, distribute, publish, or share the information (in full or in part) with or without attribution; to release anonymised or non-anonymised versions; share with agencies, partners, law enforcement, and relevant bodies; and integrate the information into alerts, advisories, training, reports, or research outputs.
4. No Obligation to Act
CSAFI is not obligated to investigate, publish, escalate, analyse, or respond to your submission and may decide at its sole discretion how the information is used.
5. No Confidentiality
Your submission is not considered confidential unless CSAFI explicitly agrees in writing. CSAFI may share information with agencies or organizations for sector protection.
6. No Liability for Use, Sharing, or Publication
CSAFI and its affiliates are not liable for consequences arising from the use, non-use, analysis, or publication of your submitted information; actions by authorities or third parties; misinterpretation or modification by CSAFI; or any resulting impact. You release and hold CSAFI harmless from any claims or damages.
7. No Guarantee of Accuracy or Outcome
CSAFI does not verify accuracy upon submission and provides all derived alerts “as-is” without warranty. CSAFI does not guarantee detection, mitigation, or response.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CSAFI from any claims, liabilities, costs, damages, or losses arising from false or unauthorised submissions; legal breaches; or disputes related to the content you submit.
9. Permission to Contact You
CSAFI may contact you for follow-up information. You may opt out of communications at any time.
10. No Guarantee of Privacy or Anonymity
Anonymity cannot be guaranteed. CSAFI may disclose submission sources if required by law or government authorities.
11. Compliance With Law
Your submission must comply with all applicable laws and may be forwarded to relevant agencies if required for public safety.
12. Governing Law
These Conditions of Use are governed by Australian law.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting this form, you expressly agree to all terms above. If you do not agree, do not submit the form.
